Each piece of artwork in the Imprints series is comprised of 2″ block prints. Finished work varies in size from intimate arrangements of several squares to larger arrays of numerous prints. Many of the prints only suggest imagery through a combination of forms: abstract, textured, hard-edged and organic. Random prints contain recognizable subject matter in a variety of motifs reflective of both the natural and the man-made world. Additional media is worked into the piece through painting, drawing and collage.
